Will Our Back Support Cushion Fit Your Office Chair?

Lasting Comfort

Before choosing a colour, it helps to check the space the cushion will occupy. Our back support cushion measures approximately 50 × 47 × 9 cm. Those are product dimensions, not a promise that it fits every chair with a similar-sized backrest.

Measure the chair you actually use

  1. Backrest space: compare its usable height and width with the cushion. Curved edges, a separate lumbar mechanism and hard side wings can reduce that space.
  2. Seat depth: consider the room left when extra padding sits behind you. You should still be able to reach the backrest without the seat edge crowding your knees.
  3. Attachment: inspect the backrest and check the chair maker’s instructions. The cushion needs to sit securely rather than depend on being wedged between armrests.
  4. Desk clearance: check that the new seated position still lets you work close to the keyboard.

The 9 cm figure is approximate overall thickness; it cannot predict how much the foam will compress for you. Measuring gives you a first screening step, not an exact calculation of comfort.

What our adjustable pad adds

The smaller centre pad is separate from the main backrest cushion and held by an adjustment strap. It lets you vary the position of the contact rather than treating one fixed bump as suitable for everyone. Begin with gentle contact; a setting that pushes you forward is not a better fit.

Our cushion may be less suitable for a narrow racing-style backrest, a shallow seat or a chair with prominent built-in support. In those cases, adjusting the chair or choosing a smaller accessory may make more sense.
